Like a traditional Italian restaurant, VIA is designed to be welcoming and comfortable. We even have an Italian table designed to seat more than a dozen diners, so you can eat with family and friends – or make new friends.

Come inside and you’ll also find:

• Candelabras that provide just the right ambiance
• A centrally located bar with a floor-to-ceiling wine rack
• A brick oven for grilling pizzas
• A rotisserie where chicken and pork are roasting in Tuscan herbs
• A gelato machine
• A deli case and more

They’re all part of VIA’s old-world charm.

We even imported the same hand-crafted, terra cotta tile found in many Italian restaurants. Italian artisans manufactured our tile just for VIA.

A series of glass doors in front of the restaurant open onto a beautifully landscaped piazza, where you can enjoy sunny days and warm summer nights. For three seasons of the year, you can even dine al fresco.

The brick and exposed wooden beams of the flatiron-style building were retained and restored to their original finish. Woven aluminum wicker chairs and a collage of industrial glass panels against the back wall complement the washed-brick finish.

The 7,500-square-foot restaurant provides seating for 200 and includes private dining areas for 25-40, and a semi-private space for 12-15.

Peter Niemitz Design of Boston, which was named one of 50 movers and shakers in the restaurant industry by Nation’s Restaurant News, designed VIA, Gregory O’Connor Associates was the architect and Whipple Construction of Worcester was the general contractor. The team previously designed One Eleven Chop House and redesigned The Sole Proprietor, the other two restaurants that are part of the Worcester Restaurant Group.
